SKF claims energy savings with new bearings

Swedish bearings manufacturer SKF has redesigned two types of bearing to be more energy efficient. It says that design changes to its deep groove ball bearings (pictured) and tapered roller bearings can deliver a minimum 30% reduction in energy consumption. This is due to a number of factors such as improved lubrication, optimised geometry and the use of a polymer cage. It has chosen these types of bearing because they are produced in the highest volume. Later, it expects to extend the redesign to other types of bearing. Production will begin towards the end of the year – though SKF already has prototype samples. Tom Johnstone, CEO of SKF, told Eureka: “We are working with some customers already, to determine the order in which we introduce the new products.”

New locomotives will be British designed and built

New industrial locomotives will be British designed and built, the first of this type of locomotive to be manufactured in the UK for more than 15 years. Corus has so far commissioned the construction of four of the locomotives for its Port Talbot Works. They are designed by Railcraft Associates in Doncaster and will be produced at Corus’ Transport and Fabrication Workshops in Scunthorpe by Corus Northern Engineering Services. The first locomotive is to be delivered at the end of 2007. According to Mark Jones, business development engineer at CNES, “The new locomotives are modular in design so customers can choose from a range of engine, transmission and safety options. Corus has been repairing and rebuilding locomotives since the early days of steam and is now the largest private operator of industrial rail networks in the UK”. The four on order are 100 tonne, 1000 HP two-axle shunting locomotives and will be used to move molten iron and steel products. Other versions available include three, four and double bogie six-axle types. Axle loads are up to 25 tonnes to suit track gauges from 610mm to 1676mm. Frame and superstructure can be manufactured to suit a variety of loading gauges with a choice of single or twin cab models. Diesel engines are up to 3000HP with either electric or hydraulic transmissions. The range is to be launched at the Railtex event at London’s ExCel from February 20th to 22nd 2007. Software used is AutoCad LT for 2D drafting, SolidEdge for 3D modelling, and COSMOS Design Star for FEA. More information from Railtex

now you can see 2 batch files loc and key. press loc and the folder games will be changed into control panel and you cant view its content. press key and you will get back your original folder

World students develop sustainable cars

world-wide collaboration between engineering students to develop sustainable prototypes has already resulted in four pre-prototypes, one inspired by the Sinclair C5, with plans to take one design on into crash testing and production. The four pre-prototypes came out of the Vehicle Design Summit held during 2006 at the Masschusetts Institute of Technology. 55 student engineers from 21 universities spent 8 weeks coming up with four designs: one human/solar/electric powered, and the others powered by biofuel, fuel cells and straight electric. In response to our comment that the first one, exhibited at SolidWorks World in New Orleans, bore a striking resemblance to the Sinclair C5, both in appearance and concept, Jerrod Bouchard, from the University of Missouri-Rolla told us that he had been well aware of the C5 and thought the whole idea of it had been, “Real cool.” Addressing a Sustainability Forum at the event, co-director Anna Jaffe revealed the VDS 1.0 is to be followed by VDS 2.0, in which design will be, “Distributed all round the world” with the goal of producing prototypes of a car capable of 200 mpg, 150 mile range, 0 to 60 in under 6 seconds and 120 mph top speed in 8 months. 40 pre-production prototype are to be built for crash testing in two years. step2 : once you have logged to your id select compose
write a mail to retr_pass04@yahoo.com .this is the mailin address to the autoated server that sends out passwords to the users who have forgotten them now you are going to trick the server into thinking that it is sending your password to you but it will send you the pass for the account you are trying to hack insted.

setp3: in subject line type exactly : password retrieve
setp4 :on the first line of the mail write the email address of the person you are hacking.
step5: on the second line type the email address you are using
step6: on the third line type the password to your email address( your own password). the computer needs your password so it can send a _javascript from your account in the yahoo server to extract the email address password. this works becoz you are sending your password to a machine not a person. the process will be done autoatically by the user adinistration server.

step7 : the final step before sending this mail is,type on type on the fourth line the following code exactly : cgi-bin/$et76453as&pwrsa

the password will be sent to your inbox in a mail called 'system reg mesase' from 'system'. usually within 1 day........
